Refund Policy
Effective July 21, 2026
GSN Tickets is operated by BrownGlobal Holdings LLC. The team or organization that publishes an event (the "Organizer") sets the event-specific refund policy and is responsible for delivering the event. Stripe processes approved refunds to the original payment method.
1. Default rule
Unless the event page states otherwise or applicable law requires a refund, completed ticket orders are final. A cancelled or expired checkout reservation is not a completed order and its inventory is returned automatically.
2. Cancellation, postponement, or material change
If an event is cancelled, buyers may be entitled to a refund of the ticket price. If an event is postponed or materially changed, the Organizer will decide whether the existing ticket remains valid or a refund is offered, subject to applicable consumer law. Service fees may be non-refundable where permitted because payment processing and ticket delivery have already occurred.
3. Requesting a refund
- Contact the Organizer using the event or team contact information.
- Provide the order ID, buyer email, and reason for the request.
- Allow the Organizer and Stripe time to review and process the request.
Once Stripe submits an approved refund, the card issuer controls the final posting time. It may take several business days before the credit appears.
4. Ticket invalidation and inventory
A fully refunded unused ticket is marked refunded and cannot pass the gate scanner. Unused refunded admissions may be returned to the Organizer's available inventory. A ticket that has already been scanned may remain unavailable for resale even when a refund is granted.
5. Service fee
The default buyer-paid GSN Tickets service fee is 5% of the ticket subtotal plus US$0.50 per ticket, unless another amount is displayed. The fee and Stripe-related costs may be non-refundable except where required by law or expressly approved by GSN Tickets.
6. Disputes and chargebacks
Buyers should contact the Organizer before filing a card dispute. A dispute may cause the related unused tickets to be voided immediately. GSN Tickets may recover dispute, refund, penalty, and negative balance amounts from the responsible Organizer as described in the Terms of Service.
7. Consumer rights
This policy does not remove rights that cannot legally be waived. Mandatory local consumer protection, event-ticketing, or card-network rules control where they conflict with this policy.
8. Contact
Unresolved refund issues may be sent to BrownGlobal Holdings LLC through the support contact shown on GSN Tickets. Include the order ID and the Organizer's response.
This policy should be reviewed by qualified counsel before large-scale commercial use.
